Cadenco (“we”, “us”) provides software that helps agencies and freelancers manage clients, proposals, invoices and payments. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.
Who we are
Cadenco is operated from Lagos, Nigeria. For the agency workspace, the agency is the data controller and Cadenco is the data processor. For your own account, Cadenco is the controller.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, and authentication credentials.
- Business data you enter: clients, leads, proposals, invoices, projects, files and messages.
- Payment data: transaction references and status from Paystack. We never store full card numbers.
- Usage and technical data: log data needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide and operate the service you signed up for.
- To send transactional email (proposals, invoices, reminders, receipts).
- To process payments through Paystack.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To support you when you contact us.
Legal basis
We process personal data under Nigeria’s Data Protection Act (NDPA 2023) and, where applicable, the UK/EU GDPR — on the basis of contract, legitimate interests, and consent where required.
Sharing
We share data only with processors that help us run the service, such as payment providers (Paystack), email delivery, and cloud hosting. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to what is needed to operate the service.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
